About
My passion for travel & photography pushes me to never stop exploring.
After catching the travel bug from my parents growing up, I learned the importance of experiencing and learning new cultures as well as being bilingual.
During my childhood, I explored different forms of creativity. This included anything from acting and singing, to drawing, videography, print, and then finally photography. While at university I continued to grow my artistic knowledge outside of my formal classes in interaction design. This consisted of multiple photography classes which opened doors and opportunities to travel abroad for on-site learning.
It was at this moment in 2016 that I created Solomon’s Post. Originally a blog like format to document my time abroad, I later combined my skills in product design to create what is now a digital space showcasing my photography.
While the original medium changed from a blog, to visual storytelling through photography, the goal has remained the same; inspire and motivate others to see more of the world.
Growth
Photography lead me to become a better designer.
My work with the camera has sharpened my eye in layout, color, composition, and spacing. Bringing this work into a digital space has allowed me to learn the importance of elegant visual design. I now carry this understanding into any product I work on.
